We had a very enjoyable return match, this time at the Camberley Squash Club courts at the Royal Military Academy.
The Vets Club won the first match 3-2, but this time we played five singles and one doubles. After the five singles Roehampton were 3-2 up with excellent wins for Kim Graham, Nick Charteris-Black and Chris Manfield.
The last match was the doubles; this would normally have been John Woodliffe and Lance Kinder, however, Lance Kinder had had to withdraw with a pulled muscle in his backside so John O’Brien, who had already played singles, took his place.
After a good close game the Johns came out on top, so the match was drawn.
A very pleasant hour or so was then spent at the local Royal Standard.
